Service agreements and customer policies.
Last updated: January 2024. By scheduling and receiving services from H.s. Window Cleaning, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Service Agreements
Booking: Services must be scheduled in advance. A confirmed appointment time does not guarantee arrival at that exact moment due to traffic, job complexity, or scheduling adjustments. We will communicate any delays promptly.
Cancellation: We request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Same-day cancellations may incur a fee to cover crew time allocated to your job.
Payment: Payment is due upon completion of service unless prior credit arrangements have been made. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
Service Scope
Included Services: Our standard residential window cleaning includes interior and exterior glass cleaning, frame and sill wiping, and basic track cleaning for accessible windows.
Excluded Services: The following are not included in standard service and may require additional fees or separate arrangements: skylight cleaning, security bar removal and replacement, extensive restoration work, and cleaning of inaccessible or unsafe areas.
Access: Customers must provide reasonable access to all windows being cleaned. We will not attempt to enter locked buildings or areas requiring keys/access codes unless previously arranged.
Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate property information during booking
- Remove valuables and breakable items from window areas
- Ensure pets are secured during service
- Clear access to windows by moving furniture or obstacles if needed
- Inform us of any special circumstances (security systems, aggressive pets, etc.)
Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of service completion. We will return to address any issues at no additional charge.
Limitations: Our guarantee applies only to work we performed. We cannot be responsible for pre-existing damage, manufacturer defects, or damage caused by factors beyond our control.
Damage and Liability
Our Responsibility: We exercise reasonable care in performing our services. In the rare event of damage caused by our work, we will repair or replace the damaged item at our expense, up to the value of our service.
Limitations: We are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage or wear
- Damage from faulty or aged window frames/seals
- Items not disclosed as valuable or fragile
- Damage from factors beyond our control (weather, etc.)
Insurance
We maintain liability insurance to protect our customers and employees. Certificates of insurance are available upon request for commercial accounts.
Pricing and Fees
Quotes: Price quotes are estimates based on information provided. Final pricing may vary based on actual window count, condition, or accessibility discovered during service.
Additional Services: Services not included in the original quote will be charged at our standard rates, with customer approval before work begins.
Travel Fees: Properties at the outer edges of our service area may incur a small travel fee, which will be disclosed before scheduling.
Warranty Disclaimer
Services are provided "as is." While we strive for perfection, we cannot guarantee streak-free results in all conditions (extreme humidity, rain, etc.). We will make reasonable efforts to achieve optimal results.
Intellectual Property
All content, logos, and materials on this website are the property of H.s. Window Cleaning. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Riverside County, California.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. The updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date.
